Depression affects one’s aspect of life including their thoughts, health, energy, and relationships. At times getting out of bed, going to work, or socializing with friends might feel like a struggle.

However, having depression doesn’t mean you condemn your life. There are some things which you can do to improve the quality of your life. Here’s an article on how to live and cope with depression.

Depression is treatable. Once you notice signs of depression, consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Stress increases the production of the cortisol hormone. The hormone gears you up to deal with the stressful condition.

Having depression isn’t a death sentence. With the strategies and medication, you’ll overcome it.

Remember, depression might make you ruminate on your failures. But don’t let it get there. Rather, be patient in your recovery journey. It might take time but you’ll find get there.

Make an initiative to undertake the activities you love doing or being with people you love. But most importantly, be kind and loving to yourself.
